NOTICE: SpecialtyRx is seeking Corporate Supplies Purchaser for our Ridgefield Park, NJ location.

The Corporate Supplies Purchaser is responsible for procuring supplies and materials across multiple locations. This role ensures a cost-effective, reliable, and efficient supply chain while maintaining
accurate inventory levels and building strong vendor relationships.

Responsibilities:
  • Source and purchase supplies and materials for multiple locations.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock, ensuring proper stock rotation and minimal waste. 
  • Forecast demand using historical data, trends, and site-specific needs.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely deliveries and resolve issues quickly.
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, reliability, and cost.
  • Work with site managers to assess needs and prioritize orders.
  • Ensure consistency and efficiency in purchasing processes across all locations.
  • Implement and maintain standardized ordering and inventory procedures.
  • Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality
  • Manage budgets for supply purchasing and report variances to leadership.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; or a related field preferred.
  • Active registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy, a plus.
  • Long Term Care pharmacy experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of procurement or purchasing experience.
  • Experience in multi-location operations is a plus
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills for forecasting and cost analysis. 
  • Clear communication skills for working with internal teams and vendors.
  • Hybrid role with office-based work and occasional travel between locations.
  • May require availability to handle urgent supply needs when necessary.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules as business needs require.

Hours/Travel: Full Time, 9:00am-5:00pm; Monday-Friday. Willing to work Hybrid and travel occasionally between locations.
